Brief Introduction:
I am a designer based in London, and in 2012, I founded the home decor brand Melodi Horne Ltd. I started this business with the goal and commitment to creating products that I would love to have in my own home, drawing inspiration from objects that have always been special to me in some way and have brought me happiness. I begun by designing lighting and lampshades with vibrant linen linings, especially as I have always been fascinated with lighting and how texture and colour affect the mood in a given space.
As a child, I enjoyed analyzing the detail that went into objects of art and antiques and was fascinated with form, textures, fabrics and colours. Often encouraged by my maternal grandmother to hand sew dresses for my dolls during play time, using various forms of artistic expression became a way of life. As a result I developed my own ideas and style which I use imaginatively in my work and designs today. My love for sketching and painting, continues to play a significant role in my creative endeavors.

Tenure at Buspace:
I moved into Buspace studios back in 2017 and have never looked back since. I loved the location especially how it was very close to where we lived at the time. We have since moved area but feel very fortunate to continue to have a foot in lively Notting Hill due to keeping a studio at Buspace.
Attraction to Buspace:
Having a studio in this gorgeous, industrial style building has been wonderful. David our building manager is the heart and soul with his sunshine attitude and helpful demeanor. I have loved watching Buspace evolve to a stylish, design hub filled with like minded creatives but equally hosting a variety of other businesses under one roof.
It is easy for our clients to visit us and to find us since it is located very near to design based Golborne Road and bustling Portobello Road. It’s a lively area with easy parking.
Describe Buspace:
Friendly, interactive, super-cool 😎
